New Age: Its Fundamental Principles and Three Pillars

One day I met an elderly woman, 81 years old, who spoke to me for half an hour, claiming that she was Christ in His second coming and that He had come through her. This woman had written four books about these ideas. At first, I thought she might be suffering from some kind of illness, but I soon realized that she was fully aware of what she was saying. Sadly, what she had embraced was one of the manifestations of what is known as the New Age movement , which has spread throughout the West. The term New Age refers to a new era of spirituality. This movement encompasses a blend of Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, and other Eastern philosophies that embrace a polytheistic worldview. Over time, these ideas have become a new foundation attracting people who had never before adopted Eastern religions. The New Age movement is built on the concept of intellectual relativism —the belief that there are no absolute truths and that each individual has the right to hold to their own version of ...

New Age: Dess Grundläggande Principer och Tre Pelare

Who Killed Salwan? Who is the real responsible?

When I studied Law and Sharia in Egypt, they taught us that every crime has four pillars: Criminal, Victim, weapon, and motive. When I heard the shocking but also expected news about the murder of Salwan Momika, I had to ask myself the question: Why was Salwan killed? What is the motive? I do not support the burning of the Quran or any religious book, even if I disagree with it. Still, I remember when I was a young Salafi Muslim and what I have learned. Because Salwan, in the eyes of Islam, committed crimes, and the biggest crime is Blaspheming Islam. Blasphemy is: the action or offence of speaking sacrilegiously about God or sacred things; profane talk. Example of blaspheming in Isalm is: “what has been mentioned by Imam Ghazali & Imam Shihabuddin Al-Misri El Shafi’i” Revile, question, wonder, doubt, mock or deny the existence of God or Islamic Monotheism or Prophet of Islam or that the Prophet was sent by God. revile, deny, or mock any verse of the Quran,...

Bowing Between obedience & Submission, Slavery & Glory (Islam & Christianity)

Praying and even rituals have existed in many religions long time. In Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity , Islam, etc... And all of them consider bowing while praying is accepted or recommended or a part of their ritual. But doing the same action doesn’t mean at all that we have the same meaning behind it; maybe I care about my body shape for my health and another care for his body shape to show off and grape attention. The same with bowing in prayer. As a Christian who specializes in Islamic religion, I can compare Islam & Christianity as a symbol for the same action (Bowing) with different intentions and meaning behind: In Christianity: Bowing is a way to glorify the Lord and respect Him. To praise and announce that He is the one to whom I sacrifice my life to Him. And we bow only before the Lord and no one else, as Jesus answered the devil in Mathew 4:9-10 " I will give it all to you," he said, "if you will kneel down and worship me. Get out of here, Satan,...

My Statement of Faith

Revelation I believe that God has revealed himself to mankind, on two main categories. The first category is General Revelation where we can see God is revealing himself through his creation “ For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So, they are without excuse.” (Rom. 1:20). The Second category is his Special revelation which happened in his Theophany: Like God talking from the Burning Bush, “When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Exodus 3:4. Christophany: Like what happened with in the book of Daniel "Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, 'Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?' They replied, 'Certainly, Your Majesty.' He said, 'Look! I see four men walking around in the...
